Help celebrate a great idea gone awry.  We also owned and operated a 6,000-track music licensing library for about five years, licensing recorded music to film and television production companies and commercial ad agencies.  All acoustic, all real musicians and real instruments.  Can you imagine blistering flatpicking in a buffalo stampede scene?  How about warm, romantic mandolin in a love scene?  We refused to charge artists a penny until we licensed their music.  We thought it would work.  It didn’t.  On the bright side, we have some Blue Night Soundscapes mugs left over.  They’re rare.  They’re esoteric.  They’re just dang cool.
