Steve Glotzer
From the foothills of Boulder, Colorado we introduce the real deal, Steve Glotzer. He’s made a living as a full-time professional musician for decades, and is one of the best guitar slingers around. Steve does it all. He writes the music, records it, produces recording projects, books gigs, and entertains the rest of us with his dry, wry, and edgy sense of humor. You’ve probably heard his music in numerous films, television programs, and on the radio nation-wide. For his first Blue Night Records release, Scarlet Embrace, he wrote all of the tunes, played both lead and rhythm guitars, and co-produced all of the music. (We’re shooting for an early 2026 release.) Steve also plays numerous shows across a variety of venues in and around the Colorado area and beyond. We are overjoyed to welcome him into the Blue Night Records family.
Steve Glotzer’s music has been featured both on TV and in movies– The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Diane Sawyer’s documentary on Appalachia, “Children of the Mountain,” Oprah, Desperate Housewives, Knight Rider, Wife Swap, Young and the Restless, King of the Hill, Martha Stewart Living, Kathy Griffen Show, One Life to Live, Passions, Monk, A Guy Thing, Friends with Money, and many more. He has also recorded music for libraries such as Boosey & Hawkes, Sonoton, Carlin, BMG/Zomba, etc.
